Matusko - Dingač Royal - Selection Barrique

Matusko farms steep, terraced vineyards in Dingač on Croatia's Pelješac peninsula, home to Plavac Mali at its most concentrated. This Royal Selection spends time in barrique, adding structure and polish to a grape already built for power and longevity in one of the country's most demanding sites.

Expect a dense, dark-fruited red with firm tannin and a savoury, sun-warmed edge - the kind of wine that stands up to grilled beef, lamb and cured meats without flinching. Aged hard cheeses and oily fish also find a match in its weight. Serve at 16-18°C.
