Domaine Christian Moreau Père & Fils is one of Chablis's serious family estates, farming parcels in several of the appellation's finest lieux-dits. This Cuvée Guy Moreau comes from Vaillon, one of the most respected premier cru sites on the Left Bank, planted exclusively to Chardonnay on Kimmeridgian limestone.

Expect the cool, lean character that defines serious Chablis — green apple, oyster shell, white flower and a streak of saline minerality — with the added weight and complexity that a premier cru site delivers. Pour it alongside plateau de fruits de mer, grilled langoustines, or seared scallops; it holds its own with richer fish and even a well-sourced piece of pork.
