Château Mont-Redon - Blanc - Châteauneuf-du-Pape

Château Mont-Redon produces this white Châteauneuf-du-Pape from a blend of Bourboulenc, Clairette, Grenache Blanc and Roussanne, grown on the appellation's famous galet-strewn soils in the southern Rhône. White Châteauneuf is a rarity next to the region's red-dominated output, and Mont-Redon is a long-established name within it.

The wine carries weight and texture, with white flowers, stone fruit and a waxy, almost honeyed richness balanced by good acidity. Serve at 10-12°C with charcuterie, pork, aged cheeses, oily fish or roast poultry.
