Bottega - Riserva Privata Barricata - Grappa

Bottega's Riserva Privata Barricata is a grappa aged in barrique, giving this Italian pomace spirit a deeper colour and rounder edge than young, unaged bottlings. Produced in Italy at 43% abv, it sits at the richer, more structured end of the grappa category.

Barrel ageing softens the raw, grapey heat typical of grappa, adding notes of vanilla, dried fruit and light spice. Serve well chilled as an after-dinner pour, ideal for closing a meal on deck once the last plates have cleared.
